Tip 1 –Your Sacred Space
It is a Sacred Place – if you treat it so -a place for your body to deeply rejuvenate.
2, 555 sleep hours in a year (average 7 hours a night) - A lot of sleep time!
A place for some FLA Focused Loving Attention to support your winding down
What's your bedroom vibe?
If it's not Sacred - read on
Tip 2 – Everything counts
Small changes can make a huge difference to any space
Eg, If a wooden floor add a beautiful rug your feet will love
What is your bedroom communicating today?
That's where you start
Tip 3 – Bedroom serious
One space to be absolute in - your sleep matters
No trash bin, no washing, no bric-a-brac
Replace old and tattered rugs and carpets
Relocate the book cases
Buy an alarm clock instead of using your phone/no techy stuff
Consider buying a wake up light sunrise alarm clock for heavy sleepers
Tip 4 – Black Out
If your a light sleeper, do consider black out curtains to maintain total darkness, a scented eye mask and.... we will get to the TV...
Tip 5 – Less is More
Remove any and all distractions to the eye
Less is more on bedroom surfaces - Then the pieces you love standout
Piles of stuff on tops of cupboards looks unsightly and distracting
Take everything down and review - consider what you need and
what you don't need - out it goes
Bonus you have freed up some storage space
Tip 6 – Old and ‘heavy’ furniture
Experiment with moving / re-organising furniture if space allows
Remove furniture that serves no purpose or feels 'heavy'
Furniture makeover for those side tables and drawers
Changing white furniture to wood effect, acrylic or chalk paint is what you need
Maybe a trip to DIY store - see what's available
Tip 7 – What's the big deal with bedroom TV?
A TV in the bedroom can negatively affect sleep quality by suppressing melatonin and stimulating the brain
Stimulating the brain doesn't support the winding down
Experiment - remove for a week, see how you go
Try another week
Clock the difference...
Tip 8 – The spot light is on the bed
A well placed bed can enhance the overall design and create an open atmosphere
Some FLA on the Bed
How old is your bed, your mattress?
What about pillows , quilt and duvet - how old are they?
If you cannot remember time to renew - check the sales
Your body will appreciate the investment
Treat yourself - I recommend:
A wool mattress topper -- super, super cosy and lux
Much is stored (and hidden) under the bed - do check that out
Years old faded and worn-out bed linen need to go
Treat your bed
Spice up your bed linen with a new bright coloured duvet set:
So many beautiful and elegant styles and designs to suit your bedroom decor
Have lots of fun choosing, mixing and matching

Tip 9 - Neutral tones or rich and deep?
Classic combination is beige walls with cream bedding - creating a lavish, deluxe seamless look
Deep rich and contrasting tones creates a warmth of luxurious sophistication
Your preference -your sacred space!
Tip 10 – Finishing Touches

A scented candle/oil burner, new plant flowers, soft throws and cushions.
Make it a weekly ritual to declutter to maintain the essential vibe
Enjoy and appreciate your bedroom space
It is a sacred space, if you treat it so
